Watershed Development And Environment
The Shri Naresh Raut Foundation strives to make rural areas drought-free and prosperous. Due to the negligence in water planning and the massive degradation of nature, we have to face this man-made crisis today. In order to overcome the water scarcity in the village of Jalgaon and Kelwad, drinking water tankers were started by the organization which provided more than 1600 water tankers for the survival of village lives.
To eradicate this water scarcity in the village of Jalgaon, the foundation removed the sludge of the earthen pond and connected it with a 2.5km water canal to the Godavari River canal. Therefore, the pond was able to fill with canal water and the drinking water problem of Jalgaon was solved.
The Shri Naresh Raut Foundation has extended its compassionate reach to a deserving cause, by donating a vital borewell to Shri Samarth Madyhamik Vidyalay Maveshi, located in the tribal heartland of Akole, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.
Akole, Maharashtra – In the heart of the tribal regions of Akole, Maharashtra, where access to clean water remains an ardent struggle, the Shri Samarth Madyhamik Vidyalay Maveshi has received a lifeline from the Shri Naresh Raut Foundation. The students of Shri Samarth Madyhamik Vidyalay Maveshi, who previously grappled with the daily challenges of obtaining clean water, are set to benefit immensely from this benevolent gesture. The borewell’s installation promises to enhance the overall learning environment, allowing students to focus on their studies without the distraction of water scarcity.
