Difficulties faced by the girl students coming to their colleges in Mumbai from the North Konkan region (mainly comprised of Palghar district north of Mumbai) have been growing year on year and therefore due to its consequential socio-economic stress and effect., it was decided to include facilities for a Girl’s Hostel in the planned redevelopment of Anna Saheb Vartak Smarak Mandir which is situated at Chitale Road, Dadar (West)., Mumbai.
