COMPUTER TRAINING AND DIGITAL LITERACY
Government schools in rural areas lag behind in infrastructure due to a lack of digital resources, low teacher-student ratio, low attendance and parents who do not value their children’s education. Some families are keen to help their children to get quality education but money without education is a Broken Dream. The system becomes, now it is challenging to replace it with a digital platform due to Covid-19. SNR Foundation has keenly developed the computer infrastructure in schools and colleges. At the centres, more than 700 children were certified in the computer knowledge of MS-CIT during the FY. The Foundation also offers free coaching classes, talent search programs and skill development for poor students. Since private classes are far from the village, the foundation runs free English, Maths and Science classes for 10th-standard students and the total direct beneficiaries are 17000.
