Eye checkup camps executed in schools and villages and around 3500 students and families were benefited

At Kelwad Village, the foundation has established a model clinic and pharmacy that offer superior medical services at affordable rates. Effective public-private partnerships and facilitating Government schemes help us to empower the community. In addition to these interventions, we did conduct Health and Eye camps regularly to monitor the village health index with the help of the Government and a team of experts in public health.

COVID -Battling the Invisible Enemy

Covid Control programme initiated and supported more than 200 needy for their food and preventive care. Our COVID response campaign reached out to frontline workers, essential service providers and migrant populations. Our endeavor was to help them sail through the crisis as bravely as possible.
Our COVID-19 Response Has Ensured:
1. Support of dry rations, hygiene kits, PPE kits, masks and preventive kits to curb the spread of the virus to underprivileged people in villages
2. Support to village authorities – Gram Panchayats, Primary Health Centres to identify quarantine centres
3. Awareness of the most vulnerable through multiple communication methods in respect to social distancing, myths around COVID-19 and precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.

HEALTHY FAMILY, HEALTHY VILLAGE

Study various health issues in these villages and every year we consistently organize camps to monitor the health graph of the village. To date, more than 20,000 needy people have been treated at the clinic. We have also organized free Eye camps to treat cataracts by a specialist ophthalmologist and many of them got benefitted by operating it. From time to time financial support and proper guidance are being provided by the organization to the neediest citizens for the treatment of further serious illnesses.

SNR Foundation has started primary treatment centers in Kelwad, Kakadi, Adgaon, Varkhadwadi (Akole) and Jatwada (Aurangabad) villages on the theme “Treatment in Travel Cost”. These centres provide preventive health and symptomatic treatments for target of children and old age people. Before initiating the clinic, we organized free health check-up camps to study various health issues in these villages and every year we consistently organize camps to monitor the health graph of the village. In the 2020 Corona epidemic crisis was rapidly increasing in the rural areas, the doctors and staff of the organization provided proper guidance and assistance to the villagers from time to time. The organization distributed free groceries and medical supplies to poor, disabled, deprived and mentally retarded women and men so that they would not go hungry when there was no employment. Adolescent girls were given sanitary napkins with reasonable contribution and doors to raise awareness about personal hygiene..
